Brian Jennings is the founder of RareSonance Media and EBC Music/Universal. A Georgia native, Jennings had the benefit of developing his musical ears as Atlanta began its burgeoning rise as the new Motown.  Not satisfied simply being a fan, Jennings was a music student receiving several degrees and accolades. His studies include: Recording Workshop – Chillicothe, OH (Advanced Music Recording and Audio Production Program) Georgia State University – Atlanta, GA (Jazz Performance)Berklee College Of Music – Boston, MA (Master Certificate Music Business Program) Jennings is also a Certified Recording and Mixing engineer and Music Instructor.

As a freelance recording and mixing engineer Jennings worked with numerous artists, including: Sean Paul (Yungbloodz) Pastor Troy, Lil Scrappy, Keisha Jackson, Tango Redd, Q Parker (112), London (Universal Recording Artist), Don P (Trillville), Yung LA, CL Smooth, Ray Rush, Sammie, and Crystal Nicole (Interscope).

Prior to starting EBC and Rare, Jennings managed Grammy-award winning/platinum selling artist Q Parker (112) (Malaco), along with several up and coming producers and songwriters. He also served as Vice President at TMG Music Group, an Atlanta-based management company specializing in the development and management of independent talent from a myriad of musical genres and backgrounds.  During Jennings four year stint with TMG the company experienced monumental growth, hosted four of the biggest independent showcases in the southeast, and became the southeastern talent scout for BET 106 & Park’s Wild Out Wednesday. Jennings duality in serving in both creative and business aspects proved invaluable allowing him to guide and consult over 70 groups during his tenure.

Although he enjoys the technical side of the business, currently Jennings focus is on his musical projects. EBC Music is a subsidiary of The Exclusive BC Corporation. The label is distributed by Universal Music Distribution and is always seeking new talent to introduce to the world.

He spearheads The RareSonance Podcast Network which brings unique perspective and views to the forefront by featuring shows that provide an alternative to mainstream media.

Jennings also moonlights as an instructor of Music Business and Recording Principles for The Dallas Austin Foundation and his own More Than Music Foundation. These positions allow him the benefit of staying current with youth-driven trends and affords him the ability to predict trends and potential success.

Jennings is determined to continue to be a voice for the independent artist in an ever-changing entertainment scene.  He knows that his ability to segue between the creative process, the engineering process, and the boardroom makes him an asset to those he manages and consults, but he insists his biggest asset is his dedication to music in its purest form.  “RareSonance is a company that operates with integrity and on the true interest of the client. I believe that is the best way to ensure that good music and media are not compromised,” Jennings states
